Much like for you, for me the internet has been my primary source of discovery when it comes to new destinations and hotels since years. Still, when I first found out about “Upgrade to Heaven”, I knew I had to have it. It is a wonderful and inspiring coffee table book with many high quality wanderlust photographies of first-class luxury hotels that keep A and me ever inspired. But it even gets better as “Upgrade to Heaven” also contains full 50 complimentary upgrade vouchers to every hotel that gets introduced inside the book.
With the book you receive a small black card with an individual code that you can use on their website to claim your upgrade which is usually at least the next best room category. In case occupancy does not allow for a room upgrade, you will get an adequate equivalent like a Spa treatment or invitation to dinner. We go through the book again and again and always learn about great hotels we would like to stay with in the future, such as the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech, the JW Marrriott Venice and the Daios Cove in Crete.
I can highly recommend “Upgrade to Heaven” for yourself or as a very special present for any travel lover.
